New Customer Case Study – Alspec
Alspec specialises in the design and distribution of aluminium systems to the architectural, industrial and home improvement markets.
With 12 sites across Australia, and a mix of waged and salaried employees, Alspec were using an old Swipe Card System that would only update the attendance information at 3am daily, and was vulnerable to errors in staff attendance.
Alspec chose iDt’s bioscan fingerscan units in conjunction with biotime software, which integrates directly with their existing payroll system. At present they have 9 sites and 300 waged employees using the system, and will look to add their salaried employees in the future, so they can further streamline processes – like applying for leave through the Leave Management functionality.
They have found the implementation phase has gone really well, and credits their Warehouse Managers and Supervisors with enrolling their staff and making it a real team effort.
